Services to anyone who is DDSN eligible. 

Local Family Support Funds are accessed through a person’s EI or SC.

Funding is limited. There are three different “pots” of money for FSF: Autism, MR/RD & HASCI

Local Family Support Funds are provided to assist individuals and/or their family care for themselves or their family member at home, but cannot afford the cost of his/her special needs. 

Local Individual/Family Funds are not to be used for needs that are incurred routinely by families with non-disabled individuals. 

Funds may be one time or monthly (not to exceed six months). 

Items appropriate for Local Individual/Family Support Funds are transportation, audiological, therapy, durable medical equipment, custom technology, personal care/extended care services, respite/sitter services, medications, expendable supplies, medical care, accessibility modifications, and SLP startup.
