Direct Support Professional
Provides training, guidance, assistance, and supervision to persons with developmental disabilities residing within a community residence. Assists in transfer of non-ambulatory residents to wheelchairs, shower, toilet, and other furnishing. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma (preferred) or GED, one year experience working with developmental disabilities, physical ability to lift 50 pounds and a valid SC driver’s license.

Responsibilities include the supervision and vocational training of individuals with developmental disabilities, Implement consumer objectives and behavioral programs for individuals, Maintains accountability checks.  Must have excellent driving skills.  Must be able to communicate effectively with persons served.   Good writing skills necessary for documentation.  Is subject to various in and outdoor activities, and may be subject to various temperatures and/or weather conditions; subject to working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs, and a valid SC driver License.

Rehabilitation Supports Specialist
Position available for a candidate to provide one-on-one training opportunities in the community for individuals with head and/or spinal cord injuries.  Candidate must be able to assist the individual with their everyday living skills.  Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with a valid SC Driver License and one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs. Use of personal vehicle for business is required; therefore reliable transportation and a good driving record are a must.  Proof of effective insurance on personal vehicle will also be required.
