Direct Support Professional
Provides training, guidance, assistance, and supervision to persons with developmental disabilities residing within a community residence. Assists in transfer of non-ambulatory residents to wheelchairs, shower, toilet, and other furnishing. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma (preferred) or GED, one year experience working with developmental disabilities, physical ability to lift 50 pounds and a valid SC driver’s license. |
Habilitative Support Professional
Responsibilities include the supervision and vocational training of individuals with developmental disabilities, Implement consumer objectives and behavioral programs for individuals, Maintains accountability checks. Must have excellent driving skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with persons served. Good writing skills necessary for documentation. Is subject to various in and outdoor activities, and may be subject to various temperatures and/or weather conditions; subject to working with individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs, and a valid SC driver License. |
